Who We Are

FatPipe is headed up by a team of business leaders who know the community and know how to bring people together to make things happen – for startups and existing businesses alike.

Stuart Rose

Founder

Stuart Rose founded The BioScience Center in Albuquerque in 2012. A serial entrepreneur with more than four decades in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and the host of more than 20 startups developing vaccines, medical devices and research tools, Stuart was looking to create something unique and different in Albuquerque and to capitalize on our burgeoning biotech industries. In 2014, he opened FatPipe ABQ as a privately funded collaborative work space providing amazing internet bandwidth speeds, program and training for entrepreneurs, and his advice and guidance to any startup that asks for it. FatPipe has expanded to three additional locations and refer to the network of collaboration spaces as FatPipe NM. Stuart’s approach to supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem is unique. He believes the private sector needs to take the lead and has proven so by investing in our city’s startup culture.

Lisa Adkins

COO

Lisa J. Adkins has worked in IT most of her career and has experience founding and running her own businesses. It is her mastery of all things IT, and her connections in Albuquerque and around the country that make her an effective advocate for women in tech and small business owners in NM.

The Destination For Entrepreneurial Collaboration in New Mexico

The philosophy behind FatPipe NM’s premier network of coworking centers is the entrepreneurial collaboration. The best place for that to happen? A location where like-minded people can focus on ideas, not the everyday back-office details of running a business. Each one of our locations come ready-made with furniture, multi-media equipment, IT infrastructure, and a “fat pipe” to the internet. We also offer mentoring opportunities and can help connect your business to investors and potential partners. All at an affordable price, with lower rent available in some cases in return for equity. Don’t waste time and energy trying to put these resources together yourself. Instead, tap into FatPipe NM.
