Lisa J. Adkins has worked in IT most of her career and has experience founding and running her own businesses. It is her mastery of all things IT, and her connections in Albuquerque and around the country make her an effective advocate for women in tech and small business owners in NM.
Lisa is an award-winning IT professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of New Mexico and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Webster University. She serves as COO & Director of FatPipe ABQ, a collaborative workspace for startups and small businesses; and The BioScience Center, a New Mexico incubator/accelerator for startups in life sciences and biotech.
An entrepreneur herself, Lisa is also owner of Q-mulus IT, an internet applications and services company specializing in Microsoft SharePoint solutions.
Lisa serves on the boards of the New Mexico Technology Council and the UNM Anderson Alumni Council, and on the Advisory Board of the New Mexico Foreign Investment Center. Lisa also sits at the Leadership Table of the Albuquerque Living Cities Integration Initiative.
She is a mother, a coach and mentor, an avid runner and an outspoken advocate for small business in New Mexico. As an active member and leader in the technology community, she is passionate about creating work environments in which professionals can succeed while loving their jobs and maintaining health, wellness and balance in their lives.
